The Chicago Blackhawks are making their way towards another Draft Lottery, which is symbiotic with a recent roster move as they called up 2024 second overall pick Artyom Levshunov for Monday night’s game in Colorado. Perhaps sending the defenceman out against the Avalanche isn’t an ideal way to get him acclimated to the NHL, but [...]

Sunday’s helper gives Luke Hughes seven points in his last seven outings. Hughes is seeing more power-play opportunity with Dougie Hamilton out for an ‘extended period of time’ and probably should be rostered in more than 48% of Yahoo Leagues. Ivan Fedotov hasn’t allowed more than two goals in each of his last three appearances. [...]

By Alexander MacLean|2025-03-04T23:05:44-05:00March 5th, 2025|Hockey Rambling|

Brad Marchand's week-to-week diagnosis looks like the final nail in the coffin for the Bruins, and it also means a trade for him is highly unlikely. There's some uncertainty to whether he will be back this season, and the Bruins would be foolish to rush him back for meaningless games. Georgii Merkulov has taken Marchand's [...]

After I mentioned the recent lack of trades yesterday, three separate deals were made on Saturday. The biggest one for fantasy purposes and probably in real life too saw Chicago trade Seth Jones and a fourth-round pick to Florida for Spencer Knight and a first-round pick. For more on the trade, check out the Fantasy [...]
