Alex Ovechkin was the most prominent player among non-injured players not in the lineup on Saturday. I haven’t discussed load management at all in my recent Ramblings because I haven’t noticed it come up significantly until now. At this point, a player like Ovechkin resting adds fuel to the argument that fantasy hockey leagues should [...]
Welcome back to The Journey, where we track the development of prospects as they excel in junior, make the NHL, and push towards stardom. **** No one drafts a player expecting them to fall short, but the risk of unmet expectations is always looming. The real challenge is figuring out when to stick with a player and [...]
Good morning, all! This is a difficult point in the DFS regular season because we’ve reached the point where some clubs may be resting players that have already clinched a playoff spot. While we do still have a couple of wild card spots up for grabs in either conference, I’m building my lineup today with [...]

Florida’s Carter Verhaeghe was not in the lineup on Thursday night with Mackie Samoskevich taking his spot on the top line. It doesn’t appear to [...]
Hello friends…Happy Masters, and happy Thursday! Come this time of the season, the slates begin to blend for me. I swear the Blues played today, but they do not. I thought both New York franchises played tomorrow, that’s not only wrong that they play today, but they both play each other. Don’t worry you guys, [...]
