For a recap of all the trades, as well as links to the fantasy takes on the more impactful trades, go to our Trade Deadline Tracker. Mike Clifford and Alex [...]
In his second season after signing a long-term extension with San Jose, it came out that Tomas Hertl was looking to be moved elsewhere. It sure seemed as if it would be a trade that could happen in the summer, especially with Hertl’s recent injury, but Vegas did not want to wait and went out [...]

A recent surge in scoring from Jack Roslovic started seeing his name featured more prominently in trade rumours (and the fact that he’s an unrestricted free agent didn't hurt). They acquired Sean Monahan from Montreal over a month ago to help at centre, and [...]
After being sent to the AHL following his return from the Player Assistance Program, it seemed very likely that Evgeny Kuznetsov’s tenure in Washington had come to an end. He did report to the AHL, but the Carolina Hurricanes have kept adding to their roster by acquiring Kuznetsov from Washington. That follows their trade for [...]
The biggest name on the trade board had been rumoured to be heading to Carolina over the last few days but the trade of Jake Guentzel from Pittsburgh to Carolina happened overnight Thursday/Friday. Guentzel is currently injured but was skating in Pittsburgh’s practice on Thursday in a contact jersey, so it may not be long [...]

Once the dust settles after today we’ll have a better idea of the new NHL landscape, but for now let’s see what’s in store [...]
