Hello everyone and welcome to this special 2025 Bubble Keeper Week (“BKW”) edition of Eastern Edge! I’m Eli Feldman. As many avid Dobber Hockey readers already know, today marks the second day of BKW. For those who aren’t aware, BKW is dedicated to profiling players who are “on the bubble” with respect to their status [...]
The Dobber Hockey Offseason Fantasy Grades series began over the weekend. Yours Truly got to kick things off with the Anaheim Ducks, looking at the changes to their forward depth, the John Gibson trade, and why their power play is the real hurdle to fantasy success for their top options. Be sure to check back [...]
Every Sunday, we share 21 Fantasy Rambles from our writers at DobberHockey. These thoughts are curated from the past week's ‘Daily Ramblings’. Projections by team and by point totals, sleepers, drafted players, rookies, goalies, [...]
For the last 22 years (13 with The Hockey News) Dobber has reviewed each team from a fantasy-hockey standpoint and graded them. The 23rd annual review will appear here on DobberHockey throughout the summer. This is not a review of the likely performance on the ice or in the standings, but in the realm of [...]

It is that time of year where we discuss those end-of-the-roster keeper questions that keeper league fantasy hockey owners make every year. We aren’t interested in ‘Do I keep Jason Robertson or Seth Jarvis?’ and more interested in decisions like [...]

Each worksheet focuses on a different part of the game: shot efficiency, expected goals, rebound control, line performance, and filters for game situation like 5-on-5, [...]
Just a heads up for everyone that Bubble Keeper Week here at Dobber Hockey is set to start next week! It is the time of year when both the columns and the Ramblings talk about those final keep-or-toss decisions that are made each fantasy season. For example, should a fantasy manager keep Aliaksei Protas or [...]
It’s time for a staple poll where you decide which players will hit the all-important point-per-game mark for the first time in the upcoming season. If past seasons are any indication, it is fewer than you might expect, as in 2023-24 only five of the 38 players who scored at a point-per-game rate while appearing [...]
Matthew Schaefer signed his ELC on Monday, and while it didn’t seem like the NCAA was ever a serious consideration for him, it does rule it out as an option now. With the current outlook being NHL or OHL for Schaefer, a nine-game trial is likely the minimum of the time he’ll see at the [...]
