Any FANTASY HOCKEY GUIDES that are ordered will be emailed within 45 minutes. Derek Roy now has 12 points in three games. He is a very streaky player and it looks as if he will carry this streak into the start of the season. He makes an excellent early pickup in your roto league. Maxim Afinogenov and [...]

 cogliano

You can't spell opportunity without the letters I and R. With the NHL regular season opening this morning in London, certain teams have to had to make some last-minute adjustments to deal with some critical last-minute injuries. Here are the kids tapped to fill those spots.

Any FANTASY HOCKEY GUIDES that are ordered will be emailed at 9:30am EST Sunday. James Sheppard signed a contract with the Wild, who then assigned Petr Kalus and Benoit Pouliot to the minors. Sheppard is now on the team and will produce little at first and lots later on. Look for 45 points or so...maybe 10 or [...]

Gionta

I admit I might have a problem.  I spend an awful lot of time on fantasy hockey pools. This year I am in five hockey pools, four of which are keepers. Goalie Controversies Are Down

 Giguere

Take a look at the list of NHL teams that had goalie controversies in 2005-06, then 2006-07, and now at the start of the 2007-08 seasons. Are you noticing a trend?  It is true; the tag team tandem of having two goalies sharing/ competing for a bulk of the starts is on a decline.

For fantasy owners this is good news.

Any FANTASY HOCKEY GUIDES that are ordered will be emailed at 7am Friday morning (EST). The Wild just cut four players, including Colton Gillies and Nolan Schaefer. Pouliot, Sheppard, Kalus and Foy are still there.  When the Thrashers cut Karel Pilar, they had to waive him. This makes it a real surprise because he played very well [...]

Avalanche of Goals

Hensick

So far, so good for Colorado fans. With Paul Stastny and T.J. Hensick leading the NHL in pre-season points prior to Sunday’s games and with newcomer Jaroslav Hlinka leading in assists, the Avalanche offense looks like a force to be reckoned with.

Here is a one-page supplemental sheet . TSN is reporting that both Scott Upshall and Joffrey Lupul have broken wrists. Upshall could be gone until December, Lupul may not be quite that serious.
