The Rangers have recalled Nigel Dawes, which indicates that Marcel Hossa will be unable to go tomorrow night.  Sheldon Souray has a separated shoulder and will be out of the lineup indefinitely. This will give Gilbert and Grebishkov more time on the power play... they may be worth plucking off the waiver wire.   Chicago has announced that [...]

 Gaborik

Five wins, three of them by shutout. Only four goals allowed. The Minnesota Wild have absolutely rocketed out of the gates this season, thanks to sublime goaltending, rock-solid defense, and timely offense.  Jonathan Bernier has been sent to Lewiston of the QMJHL. J-S Aubin has been activated off the injured reserve and will get a shot at the No.1 job for the Kings. A couple of quick notes. First, it slipped past me that Marc-Andre Bergeron was a healthy scratch on Saturday. Nolan still loves him, it was [...]

Brian Campbell has an amazing nine points in four games so far this season.  Dallas netminder Tobias Stephan had his first NHL start yesterday. He was two seconds away from a shutout, but ended up taking the OTL. He made 38 saves. Jordan Leopold missed his second game with a hip injury, but will likely not miss [...]
