350 minutes after announcing the pool, 200 people have entered.

Sidney Crosby expects to return to the lineup tomorrow when the play the Isles.

Marc Savard has a broken bone in his back, sustained when Steve Begin crosschecked him.The injury is apparently the least serious bone to break… and the team is still saying that he is just out for two games, but I tend to wonder about this. Be cautious about this for the upcoming playoff pool.

Brian Lee made his NHL debut last night in place of Wade Redden knee injury). Lee played 18 minutes but was not used on the PP. Consider Redden day to day.

Steven Stamkos, the consensus number one pick in this upcoming draft, scored four goals last night to lead Sarnia to a 5-4 playoff win.

Despite the fact that Nathan Paetsch was back in the lineup, the Sabres still went with Tallinder, Lydman and Sekera on the power play. Paetsch didn't play the PP at all.

Marc Savard did not dress last night (see yesterday's ramblings), but David Krejci was excellent in his place, notching two points and logging nearly 20 minutes of ice time.

Chuck Kobasew took a Zdeno Chara shot off the ankle early in last night's game and he did not return. The team would not reveal the nature or seriousness of the injury… just some more good ol' fashioned NHL disclosure.

Matt Lashoff, recalled yesterday to replace Andrew Ference in the lineup, had two assists. He has decent upside as a PP quarterback down the road.

Mike Smith says that he has an injured left knee, but it is just a "strain". The team reacted by recalling both Jonathan Boutin and Marc Denis from the AHL. Denis has to clear re-entry waivers first so they needed Boutin to be the backup last night. Smith says that he feels well enough to play.

Jozef Stumpel played 14:39, but barely saw the power play in his return to the Florida lineup.

Dan Cleary returned to the lineup and picked up an assist.

Kristian Huselius was indeed a healthy scratch last night. You can look at this one of two ways: he other bounces back huge, or Keenan has it in for him and he never gets back on track in Calgary. We'll know in ONE game which way he will go.

Fredrik Modin missed last night's game with a head injury. David Vyborny was back in the lineup.

Jonathan Cheechoo missed last night's game with a neck injury. He should not be sidelined long.

Jason Williams is skating full practice for Carolina and is now looking like he may return for the final game or two of the regular season. This is a sudden about-face on the news I got last week.

Derek Roy left late in last night's game with a charley horse. Consider him day to day.

The Penguins signed right winger Nick Johnson to an entry level contract yesterday. Johnson is deep down my prospects list, but certainly jumps onto my radar with the news. He is a point per game player in college, let's see how he does in the AHL. He will debut on my Fantasy Prospects List on April 10.

Scott Gomez could play on Thursday, we will know tomorrow after the morning skate.

Michal Rozsival has a lower body injury and missed last night's contest. Paul Mara took his spot. Rozsival is day to day.
