The Ottawa Sun is reporting that Andrej Meszaros turned down a pretty big offer to play next season in the RSL - over $3.5 million per season. He is an RFA this summer. The Kings traded offensive blueliner TJ Fast to St. Louis for a fifth round pick. Fast is not considered for my Fantasy Prospect [...]

Goalies like Toskala, Bryzgalov, Garon and Smith have all been handed the reigns between the pipes. There are a few teams this off-season with some questions to answer with regards to their respective goaltender situations, and here are the five most interesting.

The Caps signed promising prospect Oskar Osala to a three-year entry-level deal. Osala is ranked 290 on my prospects list and is fully profiled (from a fantasy standpoint) in my Fantasy Prospects Report.  Patrick Eaves has signed a three-year deal with Carolina. $4.2 million, which is a tad high for a Band-Aid Boy, but he's still [...]

Anaheim will be affiliated with a new AHL team in Des Moines next season. The Iowa Stars, who ended their agreement with Dallas, will move to Des Moines. No word on what Portland, Anaheim former affiliate, will do.  The Lightning have fired coach John Tortorella. Frankly, I would prefer he coach the Leafs over Ron [...]

The French version of the Fantasy Prospects Report - Le Guide des Espoirs de Dobber, Édition 2008 is now ready for download.  Sami Kapanen has signed to play in the Finnish League next season.  A great way to start the week if you're a fantasy sports company. The U.S. Supreme Court announced today that it will not [...]

Tomas Holmstrom will be a game-time decision today. He injured his hammy again in Game 3 - which is precisely the reason I wanted Gill out there on him all game, just giving him nudges and knocking him off-balance from minute one to minute 60. Glad to see that Therrien had Gill do just that. [...]

It looks like Glen Metropolit could play in the RSL. He has apparently been offered double what he was offered by Boston. Stay tuned.  Boston signed their new acquisition Matt Marquardt to a contract. They just got him in a trade on Wednesday, so their eagerness to go after him, trade for him, and sign [...]
