Take from this what you will – but Martin St. Louis intrigues the Penguins according to this TB blog.

After stopping 46 of 48 shots last night, Jaroslav Halak picked up the win. With Price's struggles, the Habs need Halak to take over for now – Price, though nobody will say it, I believe is still battling ankle issues.

Viktor Kozlov will not play today and probably not Sunday either. He is battling a groin injury.

Alexander Semin, however, will be in the lineup and has practiced with Ovy and Backstrom to form a powerhouse line.

The Pens got their preview of Luca Caputi and all in all it was a good one. He scored on his first shift and not since, but he showed promise. The Pens sent him down to WBS because Ruslan Fedotenko is ready to return.

MIN prospect rearguard Tyler Cuma underwent knee surgery and is out for the season.

With a shutout last night, Scott Clemmensen is 24-11-1, 2.23 and .922. That SP would tie Brodeur's second best in his career. The GAA would be Brodeur's ninth best in his career. The shutout is Clemmy's second in a row. Brodeur will practice with the team this weekend and is targetting a Feb. 26 return.

Nathan Gerbe played over 19 minutes for the Sabres last night, which really impresses me. What impresses me the most is that Lindy Ruff is playing him properly, unlike a lot of NHL coaches (I'm looking at you Hitchcock, Anderson…etc). What does not impress me is that Gerbe is pointless in the two games since his recall. He can only do that for so long before he stops getting this kind of ice time. Gerbe is ranked 17th on my fantasy prospects list.

Andrej Sekera returned to the BUF lineup, but saw little PP time.

The Coyotes have activated Peter Mueller off the IR.

Toronto's Jeremy Williams got through waivers and has been assigned to the Marlies (add him to the list of great players you can see March 7!)

Teddy Purcell has 10 points in his last six AHL games. He is ranked 14th on my fantasy prospects list. I really loved his outlook for this season, and since he (barely) missed being a full timer and yet has continued playing well – I love his outlook for next year even more.

Patrick Maroon has eight points in his last seven AHL games. Ranked 120 on my fantasy prospects list, I think he is two seasons away. On the right line with skilled linemates, his size in front of the net could see 75-point seasons.

Pens goaltender John Curry is 16-3-0 (2.02, .929) since Dec. 13 in the AHL. I keep saying this, but I see a Cujo-type of career ahead of him.

In his AHL debut, Kyle Turris had two goals and an assist. Satisfied, Turris owners? Still an elite prospect.

Nikita Filatov, the top fantasy prospect out there, has two points in three games since being sent back down. He missed last night's AHL contest with a sinus infection.

With all this prospect talk, it's a good time to introduce DobberHockey's newest writer. Stuart McDonald will be taking over the fantasy outlook on prospects 18-24 every Saturday, while Matt Bugg will focus on the 15-18 year old undrafted kids. Combined, these two will make Saturday's at DobberHockey a "must read" for keeper league owners. McDonald is a writer for Hockeys Future.

Elizabeth and Lewis reunite to bring you all the latest fantasy news and strategy, such as how our siblings would fare if called on to fill our roles like Owen Sillinger did for bro Cole. Then it’s onto news including coverage of the postponed CGY/LAK game and defensive injuries piling up in MIN and putting some strain on Gustavsson’s performance. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
