Fantasy Prospects Report – buy it here.

Raymond may have a fractured vertebrae. He could be out 4-6 months, which puts November as the best case scenario.

Things I hate, Part 6546544351: After every goal that Luongo let in, 50 people made the "Thomas would have had that" joke on Twitter. It wasn't really that funny if one person did it.

The guy gives a serious answer, breaking down the play and indicating that it was a shot he would have had, and then he goes on to say there are plenty of shots that he let in that Thomas would have had. But the Boston media cuts and pasts the first part of the comment and blows it out of proportion. The sad thing is, if Thomas said those things then the Vancouver media would have done the same thing.

Anyway, I hope nobody was shocked at the outcome. As I said yesterday, I had already invited the guys over for Game 7 on Wednesday.

I was, however, shocked at the speed of the goals. You see, the opening stuff was dragging on, so I ran into my office to do another player profile or two (I am doing a few teams for the Score Forecaster this year again). I came back about six minutes into the first and it was 2-0. So then I thought, bah, I'll just put my daughter to bed – no need to ask the wife to do it. I come back downstairs five minutes later and it's 4-0! I missed all four goals that period.

Tim Thomas wins the Conn Smythe regardless of the Game 7 outcome.

Three assists for the Recching Ball. That's beautiful. The guy knows what it takes – after seven assists in 18 playoff games he has six in six in the Final. He's played 105 games this season and has 61 points. Not bad for 43 years old.

I love that Nathan Horton was at the game waving a towel and cheering on his mates. I hate…well…

Things I hate, Part 6546544352: When Horton waved the towel, 500 people were quick to update me on Twitter. Yeah, if you follow too many people, you get overkill on some things…take the good with the bad, I guess.

How about that Michael Ryder? 17 points – talk about upping your free agency value!

As soon as Boston scored the fourth goal, I'm sending Ryan Kesler to the dressing room. The guy is playing on one leg. Let him maximize his chance of getting just a little better for Game 7.

The Conn Smythe favorite six games ago, Kesler is pointless in five and a minus-5 in that span.

Mason Raymond was taken to hospital after hitting the boards awkwardly. Very tough to see, he folded over weird…clip below.

TSN reports that Winnipeg will be reviewing candidates for the coaching job – including current coach Craig Ramsay.

Upcoming on DobberHockey: Live Chats for Day 1 and Day 2 of the Draft, June 24 and 25. Also a Live Chat for July 1 – UFA Day (well, okay, Canada Day too). Look forward to seeing you partake…

Ottawa has hired Paul MacLean as their head coach. He was the assistant in Detroit, and I think most assistants there of late have turned out to be pretty good coaches. Interesting sidebar: On my original roster of my 22-year-old keeper league, I drafted Paul MacLean. He had 67 points that year, but then he had 17 and never played again. So not the best pick for a keeper league…

Anze Kopitar is still targeting late July to get back on the ice.

Minor signings – St. Louis re-signs Chris Porter. Pittsburgh re-signs Ryan Craig (two-way deal).

Changes coming in terms of head-shots. Funny seeing Shanahan and Schneider in suits answering questions on behalf of the NHL:
