Top 100 Rotisserie Players – October 2016
Mike McMillan
2016-10-18
Ranking the top 100 rotisserie players as of October, 2016.
Top 100 Rotisserie Player list comes out on the 15th of each month moving forward. I’ve been putting together the player values by using some of the free tools provided on the Frozen Pool page of DobberHockey.com.
Player values for my Roto ranks are weighted over the last 4 seasons to try and determine a player's production consistency. It’s also based on per-game averages to account for injuries. Over the course of the season, I’ll be adding in the current production at a steadily increasing value. For this edition of the Top 100, I’ve taken 5% value from this season (to give a slight boost to the players who’ve exploded out of the gate), 60% of the players value from last season and 25% the 2014/15 campaign and 10% from 13/14. Percentages are adjusted appropriately for players that have been injured so far this season and rookies/sophomores.
The categories included in the values are G, A, +/-, PIM, PPP, Hits, Blocks and SOG. Remember: This is NOT a points-only ranking, but a ranking for rotisserie and multi-cat leagues. Here is the October Top 100 Roto list…

How did Alex Galchenyuk get rated #100 *and* just miss the cut?
Mostly because he’s just that good. :P
Marchand at 81 seems low…
