First things first, I want to say thank you to all of the veterans who have served their country. Without brave folks like you, we wouldn't be able to enjoy this game of hockey that we all love so much. During this Hall of Fame week, we are reminded that the NHL has turned into a young man's game. Three of the four top leading point scorers are either 20 years old or younger (they can't even buy a beer with their teammates after practice to relax!) Last week, we highlighted one of the league leaders’ teammates, Chris Kreider. He registered three goals, five points, and three power-play points in four games. Hopefully we find that same success again!

Unfortunately, we're not going to find many games played advantages this time around as the majority of teams are skating in two/three games for the remainder of the fantasy week. However, we do have some teams that have multiple light day games (some combination of Wednesday, Friday, and/or Sunday). We'll look to exploit those contests and lines to give you an advantage for your fantasy matchup.

The Philadelphia Flyers and Utah Mammoth play Wednesday and Friday. The team I'm looking to add a player from between these two would be Philly. They play the St. Louis Blues on Friday, one of the worst penalty killing teams in the league (below 70% as of this writing).

Two players I like from the City of Brotherly Love are Noah Cates and Owen Tippett. Cates has been taking regular shifts with Travis Konecny and been a staple on their top power-play unit. He has had a concerted effort to shoot the puck more recently, averaging two shots per game with five points in his last seven.

Tippett has been snake bitten all year, but he is on the verge of having that ketchup bottle spill out. He's providing us with all of the peripheral stats we like in fantasy, just not landing on the scoresheet. He's lined up with Trevor Zegras and making too much money to be held off the scoresheet much longer. Once the next point comes, they'll start coming in bunches so buy low now.

Teams that play Friday and Sunday are the Nashville Predators, New York Islanders, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Vancouver Canucks. The team I would try to target for the end of the week would be the Penguins. Their only two games this week are a strange home and home series with the Preds (how often do we see two non-conference squads have a home and home??)

The Pens currently have the league's top power-play unit and Nashville has surrendered 22 goals in their last six contests. Rookie Ben Kindel has been bumped up to the top extra man advantage and is playing with Sidney Crosby and Bryan Rust at even strength. He is under 10% owned on both Fantrax and Yahoo and is a must-stream for this weekend because he is averaging 20 minutes a game in his previous four contests.

Another team that made a shakeup in the fantasy world of lines was the Edmonton Oilers. After the spanking the Colorado Avalanche put on these guys last week, the Oil changed their lines up for their game against Columbus on Monday. Matt Savoie and Andrew Mangiapane lined up with Connor McDavid but the trio did not look impressive. The Oilers needed a shake up after their last few games and if they had not come back against the Blue Jackets, there would have been a lot of bashing on X. 

However, one guy that is still only 17% owned in Yahoo leagues seems to be settling in and that player is Jack Roslovic. He scored the game-winning goal in overtime and is getting nice power-play usage while Zack Hyman is on the shelf. Although Hyman is expected back soon, Roslovic has earned his spot on one of McDavid or Draisaitl's lines. Playing with one of those two has brought out the shooter in him as he is averaging over two shots per game.
