Carolina Hurricanes @ Boston Bruins

As expected, Boston's good luck may be changing as injuries are starting to mount.  With Sturm and Bergeron already out of the lineup, Milan Lucic is the latest player to go down to injury. The Bruins are hard to bet against but I think the time has come where things will even out a little.  I believe the Bruins have been playing a little over their head.

-Bet-

1 banana on CAR to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V

Atlanta Thrashers @ Florida Panthers

The Panthers have been playing well recently and look like they will challenge for a playoff spot all season.  These two teams usually end up playing a low-scoring game and I don't see any reason to expect that to change.  Bryan Little is questionable with bruised ribs.

-Bet-

1 banana on FLA to win

2 bananas on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: H

Pittsburgh Penguins @ Colorado Avalanche

The Penguins are struggling.  They managed to pull ahead of Nashville 3-0 on Thursday night before squandering the lead but they were drastically outplayed by the Predators.  The Pens actually have a better road record than  home record so a trip to the west coast may be good for what ails them.  The Avs have quite a few significant injuries with Sakic, Stastny and Foote out.

-Bet-

1 banana on PIT

2 bananas on the OVER (5.5)

Proline: V+

Washington Capitals @ Montreal Canadiens

Despite all the injuries, Montreal keeps finding a way to win.  The Capitals are undefeated in their last 8 games vs the Northeast division.  The Habs are coming off back to back wins against the Rangers and Leafs but the Capitals are significantly better than both those teams in my opinion.

-Bet-

1 banana on WAS to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V

New York Rangers @ Ottawa Senators

The Senators have played better in their last few games but have very little to show for it.  Ottawa is having difficulty scoring and with Lundqvist coming to town that would seem like a big problem.  However, it may actually be a blessing as Lundqvist has looked anything but solid in his last few starts.  The Senators are 6-2 in their last 8 home games and the Rangers are 2-9 in their last 11 games in Ottawa.

-Bet-

1 banana on OTT to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: H

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Philadelphia Flyers

Toronto is .500 on the road this season but the Flyers only have 4 losses in regulation.  Toronto's major problem this year has been goaltending and that is a big problem when facing the Flyers who have Rocket Richard Trophy candidate Jeff Carter.

2 bananas on PHI to win

2 bananas on the OVER (5.5)

Proline: H+

Buffalo Sabres @ Detroit Red Wings

Detroit has won 5 in a row and Buffalo has won 3 in a row.  Ryan Miller seems to have found his game and he will be looking to have a big game in his homecoming.  Unfortunately for Miller and the Sabres, the Red Wings just keep rolling along and they are healthy.

1 banana on DET to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: H+

Minnesota Wild @ Columbus Blue Jackets

All the stats and trends favour the Blue Jackets in this matchup but they don't account for all the injuries that have hit Columbus in the past week.  Mason and the Jackets look good against the Capitals as I write this but I think the injuries coupled with back to back games will help the Wild come out on top.

1 banana on MIN to win

2 bananas on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V

Chicago Blackhawks @ Nashville Predators

Nashville has lost 7 of their last 10 games but they may welcome back Steve Sullivan in this game.  Chicago will be looking to get back on track as they have been struggling a bit after their winning streak came to an end.

1 banana on CHI to win

2 bananas on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V+

Dallas Stars @ Phoenix Coyotes

Dallas is trying to get back on track after a horrendous start to the season.  The Coyotes have an excellent home record but Dallas won the last meeting in Phoenix by a score of 2-1 in OT.

1 banana on DAL to win

1 bananas on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V

San Jose Sharks @ Vancouver Canucks

The Sharks seem to have fallen back to earth a little as they have alternated wins and losses over the last 6 games.  The Vancouver signed some free agent forward whose name escapes me right now.  The Sharks have beaten the Canucks in the last 5 meetings.

-Bet-

1 banana on SJ to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V+

New Jersey Devils @ Los Angeles Kings

The Kings can't seem to find any consistency.  They have alternated losses and wins over the last 8 games.  The Devils are in the same situation only they seem to win or lose in pairs.  They are .500 over the last 10 games.  New Jersey has a record of 10-6-1-1 on the road.

-Bet-

1 banana on NJ to win

1 banana on the UNDER (5.5)

Proline: V
