The best bets for Saturday’s NHL games.
Hello everyone, I'm very happy to finally be writing on DobberHockey and I look forward to a profitable finish to the regular season. I will be keeping track of my record as well as winning %. Over the past few weeks we have seen many significant injuries and trades… many of which will influence my game picks. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to comment below. It's time to #GETTHATMONEY!
Columbus @ Boston (7pm ET)
Has Tuukka Rask found his groove? Are the Bruins back? I believe so. The Bruins have now won 5 straight as they continue to get healthy. Tuukka has played like… well, like Tuukka by allowing only 7 goals in his last 5 games. The Blue Jackets on the other hand have lost 3 straight including a heartbreaker on Wednesday night against the Habs, where they let up 3 goals in the remaining 10 minutes of the game to blow a 2 – 0 lead. A big reason why the Blue Jackets have lost 5 straight is because of the rather poor play of net minder Sergei Bobrovsky who has allowed 20 goals in his last 5 games. If Bobo doesn't show up for this game, the Bruins will get an easy win. Keep in mind that Curtis McElhinney may get the start as Columbus will be playing the 2nd game of a B2B. What's it gonna be Bobo? Give me the Bruins.
Game Notes: Brad Marchand will not play as he has been suspended for two games for a slew foot on Rangers forward Derick Brassard.
Key Stat: Blue Jackets are 1-5 in the last 6 meetings in Boston.
Pick: Boston – Home Team Win– H
Philadelphia @ Buffalo (7pm ET)
