The Leafs’ first signing today was adding Jack Roslovic on a two-year deal worth $4 Million per season, and it doesn’t appear that they’re done, with Dobber covering the other big splash. What the Leafs Get: The Leafs get a 45-point player, and you can take that to the bank, regardless of ice time, [...]
The Los Angeles Kings have signed winger Mats Zuccarello to a one-year contract for $1 million plus bonuses, forward Erik Haula to a two-year contract with a $3.6 million AAV, and forward Corey Perry to a one-year contract worth $1 million. Zuccarello finished the 2025-26 season with 54 points – an identical point total to [...]
The story with the Detroit Red Wings remains what the future of Dylan Larkin is with the team, and what any kind of trade return will look like. Until that bridge is crossed, there are still roster spots that need filling, and Pierre LeBrun reported that the Wings signed winger Viktor Arvidsson to a two-year [...]
After making some cap space by moving out Jack Drury last week, the Avalanche used most of that up by adding some scoring on the wing in Jaden Schwartz. What the Avalanche Get: The Avs take a chance on Schwartz who hasn’t paced for more than 51 points since the Covid-shortened 2019-2020 season. Schwartz is [...]

On Monday night, the Vegas Golden Knights traded goaltender Akira Schmid to the Florida Panthers. The Panthers were in need for a pair of goalies, so Schmid knocked one domino down. On Tuesday afternoon, the second domino fell as the Panthers acquired goalie Jacob Markstrom from the New Jersey Devils. Markström is set to start [...]
With both Sergei Bobrovsky and Daniil Tarasov as unrestricted free agents, the Florida Panthers were loading up as a super team without a goalie tandem, or a goalie at all. That changed late on Monday night as the Panthers acquired Vegas Golden Knights netminder Akira Schmid for a third-round pick in the 2028 Draft. Schmid [...]
The NHL’s free agency period starts tomorrow, and while teams and players aren’t engaged in talks prior to the official opening of free agency (I type that while winking so hard I give myself a headache), there are usually a lot of key signings fantasy managers need to stay on top of. The team here [...]
