Our Expert Picks should be out soon for the Third Round, and since we have a nice gap with no games from last night, and the third round starting tonight, I figured I would preview the third round a little. First up, the matchup we have known for a little longer, Vegas versus Colorado. Though [...]

Montreal was ready to pop before Game 6 in anticipation of a series win. However, the Sabres silenced the crowd, forcing a winner-take-all Game 7 on Monday night in Buffalo. Buffalo 8, Montreal 3 (series tied 3-3) Rasmus Dahlin opened the scoring just 32 seconds into the game, but then Montreal scored three times before [...]
After news surfaced that the Oilers had asked Vegas about interviewing Bruce Cassidy (and were declined), Kris Knoblauch was officially let go as Oilers head coach on Thursday. Carolina 3, Philadelphia 2, OT (Hurricanes win series 4-0) The Carolina Hurricanes are still [...]

Montreal 5, Buffalo 1 (series tied 1-1) Alex Newhook led the Canadiens with two goals in Game 2. Add in the Game 7 winner from the Tampa series and Newhook has three goals over his past three games. [...]
Only one game last night, seeing game two played between the Wild and the Avs. The Minnesota Wild turned to Filip Gustavsson after Jesper Wallstedt allowed eight goals on 42 shots in the opener. Gustavsson hasn’t played since April 13th, where he allowed five goals on 21 shots against. In fact, he ended the season [...]
