Hello everyone and welcome to the latest Top 10! I’m Eli Feldman. For fantasy hockey managers, drafting players on new teams is always a challenge. On one hand, the natural excitement of seeing a player don different colours for the first time boosts their appeal. However, on the other hand, managers are prone to overreaching/overpaying [...]
Yesterday the Columbus Blue Jacets sent a 2026 sixth-round pick to Philadelphia while retaining Ivan Fedotov’s full $3.275 million cap hit. In reality, they’ll only pay $775,000 in salary. Fedotov was a seventh-round pick of the Flyers in 2015. He played 26 games last season, finishing 6-13-4 with a 3.15 GAA and .880 save percentage. [...]

For the last 22 years (12 with The Hockey News) Dobber and the team have reviewed each team from a fantasy-hockey standpoint and graded them. The 23rd annual review has appeared here on DobberHockey throughout the summer, and concludes here with the Jets. This is not a review of the likely performance on the ice [...]
There was an article over the weekend from Mark Spector at Sportsnet regarding Zach Hyman’s status as he recovers from that wrist injury he suffered in the playoffs. Spector interviews Hyman, who says he is still rehabbing his wrist and that he has yet to start shooting pucks. There is no firm timeline or anything, [...]
Now that most roster depth charts are set and any changes outside of trades will be fairly inconsequential, I thought I’d enter all the players into my google sheets for each team roster and see how teams line up compared to this time last year. This week is a little light in terms of writing [...]
Hello everyone and welcome to the latest Top 10! I’m Eli Feldman. While goals, assists, and powerplay points often command the spotlight in fantasy hockey, there is perhaps no statistic more underrated than reliability. Injuries are ubiquitous during the NHL’s 82-game grind, but each year a select group of players run the marathon flawlessly. The [...]

Mike Sullivan’s recent comments suggest the team intends on putting Fox in a spot to succeed, keeping him in the Norris conversation. Any other approach would not make sense given [...]
