Teemu Selanne

Veteran sniper Teemu Selanne has been back for 14 games now and has already had a five-point game. His impact – for better or for worse to fantasy junkies – has far-reaching effects.

Crosby played over 22 minutes and assisted on the first goal last night. He played with Talbot and Dupuis. Jordan Staal left last night's contest in the first period with bruised ribs. Ryan Whitney was back in the lineup. Goligoski was sent back down. Michel Therrien has said that he will go with the hot hand, so Fleury [...]

I write an article every Thursday for the Score Forecaster called "Fantasy Spin". Not sure if any of my readers know this. Anyway, you can find today's piece right here .  The Denver Post is speculating that Peter Forsberg will line up as a left winger this year. I can see Sakic with Smyth and Forsberg [...]

In a Head to Head league? As part of a special "Roto-Look Ahead", I added a chart at the bottom that gives you the teams with the best - and worst - schedule from March 10 through the end of the season. Apparently, in Yahoo! the playoffs for H2H leagues start March 10. Ottawa has fired coach John [...]

TSN is reporting that Vancouver rearguard Lukas Krajicek will undergo season ending shoulder surgery. He is a Band-Aid Boy, so if you own him you had to figure something like this could happen to him.  It looks like Lidstrom will be on the shelf for about 10 days. The Kings traded Modry to Philly for a third [...]

Peter Forsberg is not coming back. Now doesn't the media feel stupid for all the countless articles on where Forsberg may or may not be going? Peter Forsberg: going nowhere. I think we may have seen the last of him in the NHL. Steve Downie's injury is a concussion and he could be out for awhile.  The [...]

Carey Price will get the start today. Alex Kovalev is battling an ankle injury but will be in the lineup. In two starts for Wilkes-Barre, Marc Andre Fleury is 1-1-0, but has an impressive 1.01 GAA and a .966 SV%  Braydon Coburn skated yesterday again and is actually probable to get back into the lineup tonight.  Sam Gagner [...]

Don’t look now, but the Buffalo Sabres are the hottest team in the NHL, riding an 8-0-2 record over their last ten games. That hot streak has moved them into seventh place in the Eastern Conference, only one point ahead of Boston and the Rangers. The Sabres are learning that life isn’t all bad after losing their top two centers to free agency over the summer.
