Sedin twins

Niklas Hagman

With most leagues either entering the playoffs or racing to the regular season finish, I thought it might be a good idea to take a look at some of the Western Conference sleepers that can help you in the one category you need most. In crunch time, what waiver-wire players can you turn to in order to get that one stat you need to put you over the top?

The mailbag is a little light this week - only about five questions. If you want to ask me a question for The Hockey News mailbag, go to the bottom of this link and click "mailbag".  Something that DobberHockey has let slip has been the Line Combos section. No more. We have a re-vamped team of [...]

Teemu Selanne

Veteran sniper Teemu Selanne has been back for 14 games now and has already had a five-point game. His impact – for better or for worse to fantasy junkies – has far-reaching effects.

Crosby played over 22 minutes and assisted on the first goal last night. He played with Talbot and Dupuis. Jordan Staal left last night's contest in the first period with bruised ribs. Ryan Whitney was back in the lineup. Goligoski was sent back down. Michel Therrien has said that he will go with the hot hand, so Fleury [...]
