There was some significant injury news in the Eastern Conference so let’s hop right to it. First off, the Montreal Canadiens announced that Nick Suzuki, who hadn’t missed a game since 2019, will be out 2-4 weeks with an upper-body injury. He blocked a shot off his hand during the loss to San Jose on [...]
For the last 23 years (12 with The Hockey News), Dobber and his team have reviewed each team from a fantasy hockey standpoint and graded them. The 24th annual review will appear here on Dobber Hockey throughout the summer. This is not a review of the likely performance on the ice or in the standings, [...]
In fantasy, scoring rates for players go up and down, hold steady, go down then up, etc. In short, for most, things tend to vary in often difficult to predict ways. However, for a select few, year-to-year improvement has been the norm for several seasons. The question though is whether they can keep improving. That’s [...]
For the last few weeks, we’ve been reviewing peripheral contributions across the league, focusing on shots, hits, blocks, and penalty minutes. Connor McMichael kept his strong run going with two goals and one assist, including the game-winner. He has been on a hot streak with 11 [...]

Montreal has Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki, Lane Hutson, Juraj Slafkovsky, and Ivan Demidov — the young core that has picked up the pieces along the way. Tampa's average age [...]
The Boston Bruins signed prospect James Hagens to his three-year entry-level contract. Hagens had signed a tryout contract to go play with Providence in the AHL, but after six games, he’s getting the call up. There is no information yet about when he’ll make his debut, but this is something that is important to track [...]
