The Blues signed the No.46 on my fantasy prospects list – Lars Eller. He's a great offensive talent that we should see in two years, possibly three.

Sharks fans (and poolies) good news: Ron Wilson has been fired.

Montreal has signed the 281st prospect on my fantasy prospects list – Ryan White – to a three-year entry-level contract. He is still a good four years away, but has decent offensive upside.

Wow, Martin Erat sure cashed in. Seven years, $31.5 million.

The French version to yesterday's Dobotomy can be found here . Just a reminder that the Dobotomy is available in French every Sunday evening/ Monday morning.

This morning, akiberg signed up for the forum, becoming the 3000th member.

Braydon Coburn took a shot off the face last night just near his left eye and nose, needing more than 50 stitches to close the gash. He did not return to the game. If he is back for next game it will be in a full face shield.

Steve Downie was dressed in favor of Patrick Thoresen.

The Flyers are 73-19-4 when they use the Kate Smith recording of "God Bless America" prior to the game. After using it just seven times this decade, it has been used six times this season. The Flyers are 5-1 with it this year.

Max Talbot, playing on a broken foot, returned to action and scored a goal last night. The game winner, at that.

Tampa forward Andreas Karlsson, as expected, has signed to play in Sweden next year.

SPECTOR has rounded up a few interesting rumors – from Jason Blake possibly not returning to the Leafs, to the Pens not re-signing Hossa.

A couple of really good rumors from Spectorshockey: Alexei Yashin wants back in the NHL, but teams will have to act soon before he receives a lucrative offer from an RSL team. Also, Mike Modano could retire prior to his contract expiring in 2010.

Washington is strongly considering re-signing Sergei Fedorov.

Ribeiro and Osgood (and Steve Ott) BOTH received just fines, not suspensions, for their antics.

Since I trashed Osgood so badly for his dive on Saturday (click "next" below to read that great rant and CLICK HERE to read the discussion on my rant in the forum), I thought I would post an even worse dive that Mike Ribeiro did several years ago.
