Fantasy Guide - French and English - are updated to today.  The Devils have waived Vitaly Vishnevski for cap reasons, I would imagine. Don't be shocked if he's off to the KHL. Dallas assigned Lauri Tukonen to play in the Finnish League for this season. They assigned defenseman Tom Wandell to play in the SEL this year. Michel [...]

Ladislav Nagy has signed to play in the KHL. Fzusher in our forum reported this a week ago. Nagy is still recovering from a neck injury, so I wonder if he will be able to play right away. He's is probably gone from the NHL for good. And so ends a promising fantasy player. Despite [...]

The Panthers have signed Drew Larman to a one-year deal.  The Red Wings have signed tough guy Aaron Downey to a one-year, two-way deal. Interesting interview with Sergei Kostitsyn by russian prospects.com . You can read the full interview HERE . He basically states that the NHL is leaps and bounds ahead of the KHL and [...]

The Dispatch is reporting that prospect Stefan Legein is not planning on coming to camp and has in fact decided to quit hockey. GM Scott Howson: "Stefan has informed us that he's not coming to (training) camp. We're surprised that Stefan has decided that this is what he wants to do. We're surprised it's come [...]

The Dispatch is reporting that Filatov's work visa is nearly ready and that he is expected to arrive in North America by the weekend. He has a strong chance of winning a roster spot and he will be a star. While his "downside" is certainly lower than the one forward drafted ahead of him (Stamkos), [...]

When it comes to analyzing what type of mental state your goalies are in as the season gets started, break this aspect of their game into three major categories. The first is classified as all negative reactions (that’s this week’s lesson – how goalies must handle negativity), the second is their unique mental game blueprint (coming in Part IV) and the third is their setting within the team’s current roster landscape (and there you have Part V). These three categories will give you a solid idea of what mental strengths the goalie has and if they’re currently performing up to your standards.
