The Kings get: A legitimate sniper to play in their top six. Gagne was inked to a two-year deal worth a total of $7 million. He has had some serious injury issues in recent years, but rebounded nicely with a strong stretch run and postseason with the Lightning in 2010-11.

Fantasy Impact: The Florida Panthers have signed Tomas Fleischmann to a whopping four-year deal worth $18 million. They have also signed Ed Jovanovski, Marcel Goc, Scottie Upshall, Tomas Kopecky, Jose Theodore and they have traded for Kris Versteeg and Brian Campbell in the past week. Not to mention nabbing Jonathan Huberdeau and Rocco Grimaldi at the draft.
