In the last bit of the NHL offseason before we start to get real news, real lines, and actual games I figured I would do a preliminary run-through of all of the top-100 players of so, and how I’m feeling about drafting them to begin sorting out my rankings for the year. I’m going to [...]
Every year I put together a bit of a schedule planner for myself to look ahead to the games played by each NHL team in the fantasy finals weeks. The last few years it has been less useful with any planning around Covid schedules being a complete crapshoot. This year though we can anticipate (with [...]
After covering for Ian this weekend this is going to be the fourth time in eight days that I’m rambling. Not sure how Ian and Cliffy do multiple days every week. It’s especially tough in the middle of August. Luckily though we have had a bit of news the last couple days though, most recent [...]
We focused yesterday on draft strategies, players with low ADPs, and some thoughts on position scarcity for the upcoming year. Today the focus shifts to the deeper keepers/dynasty leagues, and what those groups are focusing on in the summer instead. How to Value Players in a Trade Many of the questions we see in the [...]
We’re into mock draft season, which is basically as soon as mock drafts open up on Yahoo or Fantrax, right up until training camp starts. I’ve read my guide, I’ve sorted out my keeper situations, and now it’s time to lean into the mock drafts and glean all we can from the current ADPs, depths [...]

The 20th annual review will appear here on DobberHockey throughout the summer. This is not a review of the likely performance on [...]
It’s time for another set of Bubble Keeper Week ramblings. I play in a few keeper leagues of varying depth, and I’ll talk about a few of the decisions here first. In my one cap league, it’s a deep setup where 24 teams keep 30 players each, split between our pro and minors. I’m in [...]

Despite the fact that I contribute to the DobberHockey Fantasy Guide, complete a lot of my own projections, and publish other content including cap league rankings, salary projections, and other thoughts on fantasy strategy, being able to read Dobber’s fantasy guide is always something I look forward to every summer. There’s so much thought and [...]
