Capped

Good day everybody, know there has been a slight hiatus over the last month or so and I do apologize for that. Between another move that happened somewhat last second, a slew of technical issues, and some other issues, the last month has been frustrating on a lot of fronts. With that said, I am [...]

When a RFA and their respective organization cannot come to an agreement on a new contract, the player and his camp then can file for what it is called ‘salary arbitration’ where an outside force is then included in the overall contract negotiations. Often, teams do end up avoiding having to go into the arbitration [...]

Like the last couple of weeks, this week will be centered around free agents that have signed new contracts, whether they signed with a new team or their previous team they are eligible to be discussed in this miniseries. This has been a very exciting offseason from the fan’s perspective, lots of player movement, lots [...]

Good day everybody, where last week was my first week back, I have to say thank you to everybody who contacted me and sent me words of encouragement! With the fourth game having been played last night, whether it is the result that you were looking for, we are finally seeing some good hockey in [...]

Hello everybody, I am once again back in action. I must apologize for my absence, my personal life got turned upside down there for a little bit, but it’s all worked out and straightened away now. Thus, my hiatus has concluded, and I will be back with the ‘Capped’ series for the foreseeable future! In my [...]

Now that the second round is officially underway, I figured it’s time to start thinking and talking about the players that advanced past the first round who carry value going into next season. The first round of the playoffs was incredibly exciting with many series going to game seven, including some overtime games along the [...]
