10 in a row for the Avalanche! TEN! Jonathan Bernier has been in net for nine of those and is on an astronomical roll. I still want to see what happens to his numbers when this team’s streak finally ends, but he has been awfully useful for fantasy owners. There’s also the matter of [...]

As always, there’s some injury news to pass along. Jaden Schwartz has been out of the St. Louis lineup since December 10th. There was significant injury news that came out Friday, Dobber heads. The first bit of news was the revelation of a knee injury to Rangers defenceman Kevin Shattenkirk. He’s apparently been playing through a meniscus tear in his left knee through all season and it’s gotten to the point where he needs surgery. As reported [...]

As much as the condensed bye week setup was supposed to spare teams from having to go against active opponents coming off their bye we saw five games pitting rusty teams against active teams. Tampa Bay, Ottawa, Buffalo, Washington and Columbus all came off their bye last night and faced teams that had their [...]

The latest attempt by the Canadiens to fill their void at the center position saw Jacob de la Rose between Alex Galchenyuk and Jonathan Drouin. It was only one game, against a quality opponent, but it’s no surprise that this didn’t work. De la Rose was once a promising prospect, but in over 80 [...]

The Avalanche continue to roll, now winners of seven straight games. Jonathan Bernier has been in net for six in a row, making him impossible to ignore. With Semyon Varlamov out until after the All-Star break, you know he will offer starts. Bernier remains available in 65% of Yahoo leagues and could be a [...]
