Welcome back to me, and thanks to the Dobber writers that stepped up in my absence, really nice to have the support. Now, after a much-needed three-week vacation, I’m back to my normal Ramblings coverage. There’s a lot of thoughts I have to get caught up on between post-draft, free agency, trades, and more. I’ll [...]
This week is Bubble Keeper Week at Dobber Hockey – with the site’s writers discussing players on the bubble in keeper leagues. These players aren’t obvious superstars, so you may be on the fence about holding onto them, depending on your format. In this week’s Eastern Edge, we’ll review some of these ‘bubble keepers’ and [...]

Over the last few seasons, during bubble week I have focused on the format I know and that is a 25-team salary cap ($83.5 million) keeper pool with 27 players on each roster (20 active and seven in reserve, but all salaries count). As it is the off-season, we allow each team to carry 28 [...]
One of the most difficult decisions a fantasy general manager faces is deciding which players to keep each season. It doesn't matter if it's a keep-three, keep-10, or keep-25, you're racking your brains over whether to keep a productive veteran on the downside of his career versus the up-and-coming player that hasn't broken out yet. [...]
The 18th annual Fantasy Guide will be released on Friday, July 28. Less than five days. I’ve already analyzed, written and projected 29 teams. Yes indeed, I’m almost done. So… https://twitter.com/DobberHockey/status/1683162797549449219 When have I ever had a Guide out two days early? Answer: never. But if the projections get done, I’m not going to sit [...]

As an added article for Bubble Keeper Week, I thought there should be some extra love chipped in for a player from the bottom teams from each division. Too often, our projections for each upcoming season reflect the past - and we know in our rational moments that change is inevitable. The Golden Knights missed [...]
It’s time to kick off Bubble Keeper Week! In case you’re not familiar with Bubble Keeper Week, we pick a usually dead week during the summer and discuss our players from our keeper league team(s) that are on the bubble. We can’t keep everyone and we certainly don’t want to keep everyone, but could we [...]
