Depending on your league, there are two to three weeks left in your fantasy playoffs, but many of us have already experienced the hardships. Last week saw disappointing performances from the likes of Kris Letang, Josh Morrissey, Evander Kane, Mark Scheifele and Chris Kreider, who all produced zero points last week. That's frustrating but to [...]
It’s that time of year again. Pre-order the 17th annual Interactive Playoff Draft List here. I expect it to be finalized the middle of next week, around April 6 or 7. * Valeri Nichushkin continues to roll, in the absence of Gabriel Landeskog. He’s now up to 42 points in 43 games, and has 20 [...]
Here are the Top goaltenders to own in your points-only dynasty leagues - March edition! This list will be up on GoaliePost.com on Tuesday, and because of that delay I am posting the entire list here (usually I post the first three tiers here and the rest on Goalie Post). Bookmark GoaliePost.com for your starting [...]
Every Sunday, we share 21 Fantasy Rambles from our writers at DobberHockey. These thoughts are curated from the past week's ‘Daily Ramblings’. Writers/Editors: Ian Gooding, Michael Clifford, Alexander MacLean and Dobber — 1. Boy am I ever upset now that I traded away Luke Evangelista last offseason to acquire Mackenzie Weegar. Well folks, we have reached the endgame! For those of you in head-to-head leagues, it’s playoff season, and if you’re in a roto league then there’s only a couple more weeks to make your move! Regardless of your format, the end of the fantasy season is almost upon us, and the moves you make now [...]
Luckily after spending a lot of time revamping the skater rankings, to have the goalie list similarly represent the best players first, while still having the value column as a reference, all I had to do was sort by the Value column first, and then the Tier column. Top-tier goalies are very hard to come [...]
A Carter Hart shutout during the fantasy playoffs? That’s right. Hart stopped 29 shots in a 3-0 blanking of the Red Wings in one of many early games on Saturday. John Tortorella definitely doesn’t believe in tanking, and that has shown in the Flyers’ recent play. Hart has now won his last four starts, while [...]
Welcome back to The Journey, where we track the development of prospects as they excel in junior, make the NHL, and push towards stardom. With three weeks left in the regular season, most head-to-head leagues are in the midst of critical playoff matchups. At this point in the year, most players are known commodities—we know [...]
You asked, and then you asked again. I have listened, and finally had time to re-jig the whole cap rankings system. Regardless of league, Connor McDavid should be the first overall player, the highest rated player, and the first player ranked in any kind of trade or draft. I know that, you know that, and [...]
With many season-long leagues in the middle of their playoffs, I thought I’d briefly share the “playoffs” I’m participating in over on Underdog Fantasy, which may or may not be available for you to play depending on your location. This was a “best ball” type format which if you’re not familiar, you snake draft a [...]
