Hopefully you bet the over in the Habs/Jets game, and that you didn’t own either goalie. The two teams combined for seven goals in the first period alone, in a game that finished with 12 total. Josh Anderson had a hat-trick early in the second period and finished with four PIMs, four shots, and a [...]
In this week’s Eastern Edge, we’ll discuss notable performances from the month of February. Keep in mind that as far as the schedule was concerned, it was an uneven month for most teams involved. Some played as few as six, some as many as 12. Toronto’s Top Trio February was a great month for [...]
Welcome back to the number one Lining Up column. This week will examine players who are both on recent hot streaks due to favourable situations and who have strong playoff schedules. With the home stretch coming it is time to start considering who might be an asset for you in your playoff run. It could [...]
We have rounded into March and that means the push towards the end of the regular season has begun in earnest. We have something like 60 days left in the regular season and teams have anywhere from 27-33 games left to play. There will be some teams – Islanders, Wild, Lightning Flames – that are [...]

Four players saw under 7:45 of ice time, three other players saw under 12:45. That means five players topped 21:56, with Leon Draisaitl [...]

Hey guys, this week I thought it would be helpful to focus on finding guys that are playing in extra games in the upcoming week. We are getting down to the nitty gritty and getting in some quality extra starts can make a huge difference in getting every ounce of production out of your fantasy [...]
With Ryan Nugent-Hopkins leaving the game in the first period with an upper-body injury, Derek Ryan was able to pick up the slack. Ryan recorded his first career hat trick in the Oilers’ 4-3 win over Florida. After RNH left, the Oilers were down to 10 forwards, so it’s hard to know what to make [...]
