The final month of the fantasy hockey season is upon us. For many teams, this means assembling a lineup without a key player or two heading into the fantasy playoffs. In other words, your league championship this year may simply be a war of attrition. But isn’t that what the Stanley Cup playoffs already are? [...]
Every Sunday, we share 21 Fantasy Rambles from our writers at DobberHockey. These thoughts are curated from the past week's ‘Daily Ramblings’. Writers/Editors: Ian Gooding, Michael Clifford, Alexander MacLean, Puneet Sharma, and Dobber — 1. I'm in the process of preparing for my fantasy playoffs in multiple leagues, so my recent adds, drops, and trades [...]
In the first game of the day, Linus Ullmark earned a 23-save shutout of the Ducks. Since his return from a personal leave, Ullmark has posted a 5-1-2 record with a 2.31 GAA and .900 SV%. Prior to that, Ullmark had been struggling with a 2.95 GAA and .880 SV%. With the Senators battling for [...]
The NHL trade deadline is usually framed through the lens of veterans, contenders loading up for playoff runs, and rebuilding teams stockpiling draft picks. But quietly embedded within those transactions are prospects changing organizations, sometimes dramatically altering their development paths. For fantasy managers and prospect watchers, those moves can be just as important as the [...]
An MRI confirmed the worst for Auston Matthews, who will miss the rest of the regular season with a Grade 3 MCL tear and quad contusion. We won’t be doing an in-depth schedule analysis but looking at production from less rostered players. To do this I ran a report on the Dobber Reports page called [...]

His Dobber Prospects profile can be read here. * Mikhail Sergachev was back in the lineup for the Utah Mammoth [...]
Good day, all! I didn’t play any DFS lineups last night on the short slate, but I did catch the second and third periods of a very entertaining matchup between the Habs and Sens. Sometimes it’s not the worst thing to take a night off — but you guys know I’m right back to the [...]
