Good day, all! Is your favorite NHL team playing today? The answer to that would be yes, which is a fun concept but makes tonight’s daily fantasy a little tricky. I can almost guarantee, unless there is a team tonight that fills the net, that the winning lineup in tournaments could be a very strange [...]
Good day, all! I finally was able to catch some puck last night, with a newborn and my White Sox in playoffs those took priority - probably in that order as well. I was excited to watch some of the games and was treated to the Penguins laying the smackdown on the Flyers. Big thanks [...]
Good day, everyone, and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great off-season. I'm excited to be back for another season of daily fantasy hockey. For those of you who have been following along over the past few seasons, first off, thank you. Second, welcome back! And for anyone who is new to [...]
Morning, all! We’ve finally reached the end of the road — the last day of the NHL regular season, which means our final DFS slate before the playoffs. First, thank you for following along all season. I hope these breakdowns helped you along the way! Second, I do hope you stick around for playoff slates [...]
Morning, all! I didn’t end up playing yesterday, but I’m really looking forward to today’s slate. For DFS (and for those still grinding in fantasy playoffs), the NHL landscape is tricky right now with so many teams beginning to rest players. Because of that, I’m leaning heavily toward “sure things”—stable lines and teams that still [...]
Morning, all! Welp… I took my worst loss of the season yesterday. Granted, not many of us were grinding a three‑game slate, but tonight is a new night —and honestly, I love this one. Great matchups, great viewing, and we’re heading into the final stretch of the regular season, so let’s enjoy it and hopefully [...]
Morning, everyone! We have a stacked slate tonight with some games that are going to be heavy smash spots with the Vegas Golden Knights, Minnesota Wild, Dallas Stars, and I’d argue with the Montreal Canadiens as well. We also have matchups that we’ve seen recently here as well that can shake things up.Slate PreviewDetroit Red [...]
We’re nearing the end of the regular season in DFS, so naturally I fired off a five‑entry tourney on Tuesday. Managed to get my entry fees back—though I honestly couldn’t tell you which stack did the heavy lifting. Either way, it’s back to the single‑entry grind tonight. My first pass on this slate didn’t reveal [...]
Afternoon, everyone! I played last night and got cooked. I stacked the Vegas top line with Colorado’s second line—you’d think with eight goals in that game there’d be more production from line two, but oh well. Some slates just get a little wonky. I’m really liking what we’ve got lined up tonight. With fantasy championships [...]
Morning, all — and happy Opening Day! With baseball back and some great March Madness matchups on deck, it’s a fantastic sports day. Even with all that going on, we’ve still got a loaded slate ahead. It’s always nice when the ones you want to play jump right off the screen.Slate PreviewTampa Bay LightningTampa Bay [...]
