Sedins

Taking a break from the ‘Summer Sleeper Series’. I want to review some significant fantasy opportunities in the Western Conference. Next week same thing for the East. Fantasy Guide can be found here.   Il y a un petit problème pour le téléchargement des documents - le tout va être réglé ce soir ou demain.   With the ongoing effort to beef up site security (should be all set in a few days), I lost the ability to upload any updated documents. [...]

It’s not hard to predict that the first overall pick will be successful at the NHL level and really make a difference in fantasy pools, but many poolies probably didn’t know that historically speaking the average 24th overall pick has quite a bit of fantasy impact as well. Fantasy Guide, updated through yesterday, found here.   As promised below - here is the Puck Daddy article on - you guessed it - Nikita Filatov.   Chris Johnston and Darren Dreger are both Tweeting that Gagne is done for camp. Again - shocking. As good as he is, does Canada really want a guy [...]

I hate the dog days of summer. They breed suspicion and skepticism in my mind about even the most elite NHL goalies. I’ve discussed the likes of Turco, Elliott, Mason, Ward and Fleury over the last few months and all I’m left with are even more questions. Sure, some are easier to solve than others, but somehow it’s always you and I getting stuck with the “damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don’t” ones.

The Fantasy Guide, available here, will have its next update this afternoon (probably late) - including an in-depth look at the KHL and NHL. I offer four categories of players who are at risk to flee to Russia and offer up candidates to keep an eye on for next summer - and why. As well, [...]

Fantasy Guide can be found here. Next Fantasy Guide update - Monday. Included in the update - a full analysis of the KHL/NHL situation as well as some players to "red flag" as possible candidates to flee in the summer of 2010. That, some new "lowdowns" and of course the usual roster updates.   Update [...]
