One player that seems to have performed incredibly well so far in the preseason is Cole Sillinger. The 2021 12th overall pick has earned glowing reports from coaches and media alike, and he’s been lining up with Jakub Voracek quite often. This continued in practice yesterday: https://twitter.com/BrianHedger/status/1443221930950156295 Sillinger was over a PPG player as a [...]
Last week I did my first best ball of the season, doing so over at Underdog Fantasy. They have a season-long tournament up where it’s $10 to enter with a top prize of $5K. There are 16 rounds in the draft, but each roster only counts five players to their final standings: one centre, two [...]
Never a dull moment in Buffalo, apparently. The Jack Eichel saga has been ongoing for months now, and there has been no hint of a resolution. From a fantasy perspective, fantasy owners are on edge about what to do here. His ADP is inside the top-100 but that feels like people guessing more than anything. [...]
Dobber Ramblings September 23 Training camps are open! Just a couple months after the end of the 2021 Cup Final, we’re back on the ice. It was a quick turnaround, and I think that’s something that can get lost on us as we head into this season. There are some players that did not get [...]
Summer is gone, fall is here, and with it comes NHL training camps. It sure seems like the summer flew by, right? I guess that’s what happens when free agency beings four days from August. Either way, rookie camps have finished and regular camps are set to start later this week. If you want a [...]

The 19th annual review will appear here on DobberHockey throughout the summer. This is not a review of the likely performance on the ice or in the [...]
One housekeeping note about fantasy drafts. Over the last couple years, I’ve talked in my Ramblings about Best Ball leagues. They are very, very popular in NFL fantasy circles and I hope they start cropping up more for NHL. In short, a best ball league has no transactions. You draft a team at the start [...]

We have been going team by team here at Dobber, rounding up the offseason changes from each team and what they mean. They are all available here and we’re getting towards the end of the list. It did give me an idea for a Ramblings, though: one player from each team that I am targeting [...]
