Fantasy playoffs are top of mind for many of you reading this, with normally routine roster decisions becoming more magnified. I’ve seen a higher-than-normal number of start/sit questions on Twitter this weekend, many of which were very challenging! Complicated questions often don’t have easy solutions, so I’ll try to share some factors that I normally [...]
Welcome back to The Journey, where we follow hockey prospects and their paths to the NHL, providing fantasy predictions and analysis along the way. This week, we’ll take a closer look at three players who may be undervalued heading into next year’s drafts. How high is Nico Hischier going to go in drafts next year? [...]
Wake up, hockey fans! It’s Saturday night again (I don’t expect many people to be asleep at this time, it’s just hard to find a cool catchphrase for evening time). As we all count down the days before we can get some playoff hockey again, there are some fun narratives shaping up for us to [...]
With both the NHL season and season long fantasy leagues winding down, now’s as good of time as any to dabble in daily fantasy where every slate is a new beginning that has its own independent contests. As a reminder, we’ve recently launched our own DFS subscription service, complete with our lineup optimizer and currently [...]
Carey Price made his long-awaited season debut, which happened to be his first game since last season’s Stanley Cup Final. Depending on your fortunes and your schedule you might be eliminated from contention, finishing your finals week, or maybe pushing through to the end of the season. This is always a tricky time to produce content as everyone is in such a different place. My goal this week is to highlight a few roster changes [...]
With many high-scoring games recently, goalies are the most significant fallers in this month’s Top 100 Roto Rankings. Roman Josi’s career season and run for [...]
In a head-to-head do-or-die week, scheduling matters. The Canucks are the one team without any remaining games this week, with every other team playing at least once on Saturday or Sunday. That means dropping players like Oliver Ekman-Larsson, Conor Garland, and even the injured Brock Boeser should be strongly considered. You’ll probably want to hang [...]
Now that the first round of the playoffs has concluded, congratulations to those of you who are currently battling it out in the second round. To those who weren’t as lucky and were eliminated, I am sorry to hear and now you get to set your sights on conducting draft research and preparing your personal [...]
