Gelinas re-signs, Honka impresses, Kane hasn’t peaked, Morin learning from Pronger and more…

The Devils have re-signed Eric Gelinas to a one-year deal. Looks like it’s a one-way contract, which makes him a lot more attractive. He’s still a depth fantasy option but this should keep him on your radar.

There’s still a chance that Tomas Kaberle (who is on a tryout with the team) steals his job but he’s going to have to do A LOT to knock Gelinas off now that Gelinas has a contract. You might also see Adam Larsson finally develop and earn those power play minutes but that seems like a long shot. Larsson appears lost in the woods from a development standpoint.
