Hockey Rambling

Despite the fact that I contribute to the DobberHockey Fantasy Guide, complete a lot of my own projections, and publish other content including cap league rankings, salary projections, and other thoughts on fantasy strategy, being able to read Dobber’s fantasy guide is always something I look forward to every summer. There’s so much thought and [...]

The 2022-23 Dobber Hockey Fantasy Guide was released last week! A big shout out to the editors, developers, and writing team that helped put this all together, as well as to Dobber himself. We have projections, upside, line combinations, individual articles, and a whole lot more to help fantasy owners get ready for the 2022-23 [...]

OUT NOW! I released the Fantasy Guide on Thursday, that’s right – a day early. Fixed two or three typos Friday, updated some RFA signings and a couple more typos on Sunday. So already updated twice. I don’t like having a single thing wrong in this Guide. The best person to have putting together and [...]

Ryan Hartman was a good, [...]

The MLB trade deadline was yesterday, and we saw a massive deal where a top-three player in the league was dealt alongside an all-star on an expiring contract in exchange for a large future package. Generally in all sports you lose the trade if you give up the best player, and it doesn’t seem to [...]

This is one of the bigger weeks of the entire NHL calendar for us here at Dobber Hockey as the 2022-23 Fantasy Hockey Guide is set to be released on Friday. A lot of work goes into this from Dobber himself, to the development team, to the editing team, and of course our writing team. [...]

The Fantasy Prospects Report was updated late last week, as I jotted down a brief note if a player moved to another organization or league. I didn’t plan on any more updates to the FPR, but I’m reading it anyway as I work on the Fantasy Guide. When I go through a team I like [...]
