A few interesting news developments on Friday, which could lead to more over the coming days. Between the flat cap and Seattle expansion, this is shaping up to be a very interesting offseason. We had a trade to announce on Friday, with the Red Wings acquiring Nick Leddy from the Islanders for Richard Panik and [...]

Before the Vegas expansion draft, teams were lining up to trade with the Golden Knights to ensure that certain players that could not be protected would not be selected. Since that idea ultimately benefitted Vegas more than teams like Minnesota and Florida, both the Wild and Panthers have opted for a different strategy to handle [...]

It appears as though Gabriel Landeskog’s run with Colorado is coming to an end. The UFA turns 29 in November but this isn’t just any UFA. This is their captain, a guy who was drafted by them second overall 10 years ago. He has 171 points in his last 181 games, plays a tough two-way [...]

We’re in the fun part of the offseason now where every day there seems to be a little bit of news, and the big events are looking in the foreground. The schedule is a little off this year, and additionally condensed with an expansion draft added to the schedule. Speaking of, yesterday was the deadline [...]

Dobber’s 15th Annual Fantasy Prospects Report will be available sometime today! That’s Saturday, depending on when you are reading this. Over 500 prospects are covered, which makes it a must-own for even the deepest of keeper leagues. Take my word: it helps me navigate through the prospects that I need to target in my dynasty [...]

As the resident Habs fan, I feel like I should weigh in on the Habs’s Cup run. First, we need to give props to Carey Price. All the prods aside, this guy had a .931 save percentage through the first three rounds, second behind only Andrei Vasilevskiy. Without Price playing out of his mind for [...]

This usually isn’t the spot for most trade rumours because most trade rumours are exactly that, just rumours. Sometimes, a respected writer with years of experience states something that they know to basically be fact, and we can’t ignore it. We had heard some rumblings this offseason, but it appears that Vladimir Tarasenko has asked [...]
